Hi Guys,

Before this particular dio goes off to a new home in Europe I wanted to take one more pic ... with a few of our Australian Light Horse.
As many of you know a good diorama is a little bit like an old-time movie set... Change the leading characters, add a few different accessories ... and hey presto a whole new scene!

Best wishes and happy collecting,
Andy

Very nice, that building facade puts me in mind of the one from the movie Zulu Dawn............................perhaps a like of white paint :)

Good morning ,
Beautiful dio, I'm waiting for the horse drinking from the hat and ...
new cannons expected for this range or older sets in the picture ?
Thank you .

Yes, I had a similar flashback.....White wash walls...missing the green grass courtyard and a band playing......
Cheers
Luiz

Andy mate,
Only one word to describe this Dio. SWEET, OH SO SWEET. The new camp life Lighthorse and the Nurses add a great touch. The European collector is one lucky son of a gun.^&grin
Cheers Howard

The ALH is occupying a lot of my mind at the moment, especially this year with 100th year of Beersheba in October, so it's a real pleasure to see layout coming from Andy.:salute::, Robin.

Sierra has a great ALH display up at their store right now. I am amazed at how many tourists and passers by comment on it considering how actual Australians are few and far between in Los Gatos. This is one of those series that transcends nationality and piques the interest of everyone who sees it.

So true PA, figures on horses always seem to display well, especially if accompanied with a few on foot. I'm not a traditional WW1 collector but the ALH along with the ANZAC's make it impossible to resist. Looking forward to getting me grubby mitts on those NZMR's shortly too.

Did not notice the new mounted officer leading the column, very remiss of me. Another fantastic piece needing a home down under. :salute::, Robin.

oops, not an officer just another one of the interchangeable riders, just could not see his rifle on his back, hence the mistake. Too bad it is not April 1^&grin. Still another mounted officer 'at rest' to go with the column would most welcome Andy. Robin.
