Has anyone heard when the new Classics figures (1 Redcoat & 3 FIW) and 1 Museum Collection figure that were due out this month will be available to dealers?

Randy

Randy, it sounded like things were off about 4-6 weeks from original planned release dates, though no specific items were discussed. Maybe if Ken or Richard are listening they could elaborate regarding the particular items you have mentioned.

Hi Dave

That is awful news.:( All the figures I mentioned were in your photo at Paul's open house but perhaps they were just samples. Does 4 to 6 weeks mean that each month's normal releases will be delayed that long-i.e. April in May, May in June, June in July? Is this effecting glossies more than matte? I noticed that the April glossy Zulu War figures did not show up at my dealer either.

Yeah, definitely a bummer, though mind you this is based on a comment made by Richard in response to the same question asked by an attendee at the Toy Soldier Shoppe open house. It was a general statement made without reference to any particular items. I think it stems partly from weather conditions in China this winter combined with the New Year related production slow down. Sorry I cannot be more specific. Looking on the bright side, it is giving me a bit more breathing room on my disproportionately top heavy April, May and June new releases spread sheet. I've got several new JJD items coming, multiple limited production Britains Napoleonic sets, the rest of the new Zulu stuff, a couple of limited run WWI sets, likely will cave on the Museum collection, and now hoping to also get those magnificent looking K&C TRL figures, and wouldn't mind adding a few items to my latest venture into the world of K&C ETO WWII. Perhaps we'll get an official comment from the good people at Britains.

On the bright side, the ZW gloss figures will come en mass after april. As you noticed some releases have been pushed forward (24th waving, defenders #2)
