Can you guys tell me the difference between AR26 "CONTINENTAL" and BR15 "BRITISH CANNON" (K&C American Revolution lne), other than the color? Does anybody own both so that they can compare them? The Britsh one seems a little odd because of its color PURPLE. they both appear to me as being the same design and style.

Wellington,

I own both Ar26 and Br15 and they are the same cannons only painted differently. The British cannons are not painted purple, but light blue which is correct.

Are you certain that the British painted their guns blue, I'm buying this item to go with my K&C Napoleonics. If they were not blue than I would rather have the other.

I'm at work and don't have my resource books available, but I'm pretty sure that British cannons were also painted a light grey color. The correct British cannon for the Napoleonic era would be the 9-pounder painted light grey. K & C is supposed to be releasing a British Napoleonic cannon in early 2006.

If you didn't want to wait, you could buy Del Prado's 9-pounder now available and which mostly likely was made by K & C.

When you get a chance to look it up can you tell me if the british and french used this size of cannon at anytime. I'm not an expert and I know the 9pounder was the British main gun but it would seem odd that they wouldn't use artillery left over from the American Revolution not to mention that the Napoleonic wars were also happening at the same time.

Cheers
