Small little battles take place between man against man, machine against machine until a victor prevails in this frozen nightmare.

Thanks Gents ! Yes the candlewax can be found at craft stores for around $5.00 for a large size bag.

Great scenes and pics ! Looks like I need to get some of that granulated candle wax, learned yet another tip from the pros on this board.

Great looking photos of your Battle of the Bulge diorama.

Very nice pictures and displays Panzerace! I also liked the candle wax effect as snow, I have been using buildarama or woodland snow coverings, never heard or thought of it before... just don't know if I'll find granulated/minced candle wax for sale around here... BTW, if I'm not asking too much (and it might help my search down here) what is bagged granulated candle wax primarily/commercially intended to be used for?

Thanks Guys, I believe they use wax in this form to make multi-colored candles by pouring it into candle molds.
Never done it nor never will, but diorama snow is a yes for sure.

Granulated Candle Wax ? Really hummmm?

WOW ..who knew? Well, I guess you guys did.

This may be a silly question, but if it gets hot in the room or my dio is under some hot lights in a display cabinet, will it start to melt?
Then my dio will look like the movie … THE BLOB! {sm2}

Once the temperature reaches 125° f or more will the wax begin to break down. My dio is in an open room and not exposed to direct sunlight,so no issues here. In a display cabinet with lights I would not think the temperature would get that hot.
