These 2 sets were sent in for Consignment and the consignee says they are W. Britain's but they have "FF" markings on the bases.
Just wondering if they are in fact, Britain's? I have not seen this mark previously.

Thank you for any help offered!

No - they aren't old Britains. If they were, they would (mostly)have words like Britains, Proprieters, Copyright etc imprinted on them, unless they are very early figures - when they would have had paper labels stuck on - so often missing.

These look like Frontline Figures (FF). The modern variety of which, now have different terrain-style bases. jb

Since the British soldiers are Frontline, the Zulus must be Britains also.

Thanks guys! I didn't think I was crazy when I saw these and immediately thought "not WB". But Consignee was insistent so figured this was the easiest way to find out.
Now on to make the web pages....."Coming Soon to a Shop Near You"!!!

These are definitely Frontline Glossy, no longer made. Circa 2001 or earlier.

What you have are mixed set singles:

on the British - ZW 4 - 2 Standing to Repel and 2 Lunging - should be 6 total - 3/3

on the Zulu - ZW2 1 Zulu Advancing and ZWP 8 and ZWP 9 - Zulu Induna 1 and 2

Hi Julie and Tom - Important to note that Frontline Figures are still producing Zulus and British figures from this conflict - just that now they are matte finish - and have been updated. If you have a look at their current web-site, I think you can see that these old Glossies belong to the same family - as many have a marked resemblance to the former painting style. jb

The Frontline Glossy are a breed apart. The matte have nowhere near the charm the glossy did.
