Just wanted to share, a few weeks ago I walked into my local magazine store and discovered an excellent WW2 mag tucked away behind a pile of other military history stuff.
If your interested in operation 'Market Garden' or to be fair anything regarding the war in Europe then you'll find this a bloody good read and well worth the money.
The mag is part of the 'Britain at War' series and titled Arnhem-Airborne Assault 1944 and is about 130 pages of full on photographs and a day by day account of the unfolding events of that campaign. It's full of amazing pic's I've not seen before and lots of before and after shots of the town and countryside as it looks now. Ton's of detail and accounts of countless acts of bravery both in the air and on the ground and the struggle to hold on and the effort to reach the US, Brit and Polish troops by XXX corps.
Seek it out if you can, you won't be disappointed.
Cheers Toddy.
