Hi Guys,

Here is the last of the preshow previews… On the outskirts of HUE during the TET Offensive of 1968 US Marines battle their way into a Buddhist monument that overlooks the city. Although bullets, mortar bombs and RPG rounds explode all around him the ancient statue remains impassive as the battle rages.
Hope you like it…

Semper Fi,
Andy

I really like this diorama with the different levels, giving a good view to it all. :salute::
Looks even better with the K&C figures and vehicles :salute::

Couldn't spot any future releases on this display, I suspect there will be on the Aussie one, which I'd guessing will be Long Tan. ? Suppose I'll have to wait like everyone else though for pics to see if I've guessed right.

Steve

2nd guess, Long Tan with Centurion's ^&grin

Another great Dio Andy. Pity you retired the Chinese gateway though.

For those in Oz interested in a good value Buddha figure I suggest you check out a store called Daiso. They are a Japanese store selling items mainly under $10. Most Westfield shopping centres seem to have one. They have a Buddha about 25cm tall same colour as in Andy's Dio but without hand raised. Very suitable to use in jungle or town scene with K&C Vietnam figures. Only A$3.80.

Another useful item they stock are Perspex display cases suitable for display on desks or shelves. They come with or without raised step at rear. The longer one for example can comfortably display 3 mounted on back raised step and 10 foot figures at front. The smaller size would be good for KC 25lb gun and crew. Only A$5.80 or $6.80.
