Good morning, Steve,

You have "The True West" series, also … {eek3} Wow, what a GREAT collection you have.
Fun little scene of a horrible moment in US History … at least for the 7th Calvary, not so much for the Sioux.

Great scene Steve, didn't know you did this period. Figs really stand out. One "rivet counting" note. Colorado became the 38th state in August 1876. So the US flag should have 37 stars. :wink2: Chris

Along way from the 1960's Steve^&grin. Another fine series treated so well by you. Robin.

Looks great!
Mark

Cheers Mark.

Well, if we are to truly count rivets, the National Colour was never carried in the field until 1884... Custer's command had seven guidons lost with them- five Stars and Stripes swallowtailed Troop guidons, one HQ personal standard (red & blue with white crossed sabers), and one regimental Colour carried by SGT Vickory. The last has been subject to great debate, with researchers unable to settle on whether it was the regulation blue or an unauthorized yellow, or even it's very loss at Little Big Horn. Also, Tom Custer was last seen in full buckskins, George Custer loathed suspenders and wouldn't ever have worn them, and some of the K&C figures have Spencer as opposed to 1873 Springfield carbines. :wink2:Doesn't detract from a beautifully sculpted series and an absolutely superb diorama!!!
