The Rangers from "A Bunch of Swells" scene have arrived at their destination along the coast of Maine where they are seen unloading supplies from their whaleboat which they have secured in a nearby cove. Their mission is to scout for Abenaki raiding parties in the area.

Beautiful Randy...............that looks like the Gulf of Mexico, 3 blocks from my house.

Looks like "my" ocean a few hundred yards away as well since I'm only a "few miles" south of Maine.

Michael, does the Gulf have rocks like that?

Randy.,
What happened to the launch? Surely they made it through the surf! Did it perish on the rocks? My poor little, tiny little, sweet little launch!:)

That is a fantastic picture Randy. The foreground w/figures blends right into the background as if it was all natural. Do I detect a slight hint of the "water color" effect with this picture. Absolutely top shelf.

Yes--I call it "watercolor lite". I think it helps the blending of figures and background since it produces a more uniform texture.
