Well here are the first pictures of my modest Napoleonic diorama of the French assualt on Hougoumont's North Gate defended by the British Coldstream Guard.

In hopes of additional Hougoumont buildings in the future I have decided to hold off on any "serious" landscaping - don't want to anchor anything down just yet. JG Miniatures is seriously talking about adding a Hougoumont buildings line - possibly out late this year. Ken Osen has indicated in previous threads that the rest of the cart shed to finish the NW corner, and the low cow barn to finish the north wall might be in the future from Britains also.

Anyway, this is what I have got so far.

Looking forward to seeing the results of it's growth Mike and how you've put it all together....The Lt.

Mike,

Gald to see you posting photos.

Your figures, structures and trees look great.

I know you will do a first class job, eagerly awaiting.

Michael

Mike, where did your doorway come from? The one in the first picture.

Michael, the doorway is actually two Britain structures butted up to each other. #17921 Ruined European Brick Building Corner and #17767 Norman House Ruined Corner Section. I am using both pieces to represent the main Chateau Hougoumont house which was destroyed by French howitzers during the fighting. Here are a few more pics of both pieces.

Never thought of using my Cold stream Guard K&C mounted officer. Looks good mike.

Very nice Mike. I always enjoy seeing photos from the collections of other members. Thank you.

Good Job Mike, I hope you did not give up on the Crusaders....

Hello Rod, very nice to hear from you as always. Haven't given up on the Crusaders, just getting a little restless waiting for the new K&C Crusader figures. Felt I had to collect something else in the interim - decided on WB Napoleonic figures.
