This is a preview of the next set of figures based on the diaries of Daisy Potts. The figures will be available in three weeks with prices TBA. The figures depict Herbert Love, publican of the Black Swan, his wife Matilda, their children Joshua and Rebecca and the pub's most regular customer, Soloman Harrison. Herbert was a jolly extrovert and loved wandering among his customers, topping up their tankards from a jug and joining in the conversations. He is shown filling his jug from a cask. Matilda, the power behind the throne, is shown in her habitual posture keeping a stern eye on the proceedings and an even sterner eye on Herbert.
Joshua helped his father by brewing up Black Swan Scrumpy, a weapons grade cider guaranteed to render the unwary catatonic within a very short space of time.
Rebecca, universally known as Becky, worked in the dairy at Home Farm and is shown operating the barrel churn.
Soloman Harrison was not part of the family but is included as he was the pub's most regular customer. A bit of a mystery man he left the village while young and returned some forty years later. Where he had been in the intervening years he never divulged but his cottage was crammed with souvenirs from all over the world. One of them, a little brass bell in the shape of a crinoline lady, he gave to Daisy. It was found in the same box as her diaries and can now be seen in the local museum. Trooper
