asset have just released this new gun team which is based on an old photograph taken at the RCMP depot some years ago. it is available either as a four horse version or six horse. The cost for the four horse version is £95 in kit form, £190 painted, and for the six horse veresion £120 kit and £230 painted. Trooper

Its great to see more of the figures from Asset because they make some unique fiugres.

The deatils of the horses strapping is excellent and I do like the use of a double sized base for the horse teams, make sit so much more stable.

Asset have said that they can provide it either in gloss or matt finish. Be sure to make clear which style you want when ordering. Trooper

I've been having a closer look at the horses since you kindly advised me about this team. I particularly like the fact that the horses are not identical. Some are left leg forwards - whilst others step from a different foot.

Looks like you also get a slight variation in head positions (rather like the Household Cavalry horses Asset provide). All of this means you don't have just one identical horse reproduced six times - which doesn't look so realistic. If you ever see a line of horses, they will never be in the exact same pose. Love the detail on the leather-work too.

Yep - a definite six for me - later in the year, when the decks are a bit clearer johnnybach

I've said it before - but if you get a parking ticket from the Mounties - you ignore it at your peril. What makes them different from ordinary cops? Ordinary cops don't have heavy artillery! - or lovely red jackets like these...........
