At Last A Home For The Troops! (2 Viewers)

Sammy, what's that building on the top shelf on the left? I love that thing!

I'd rather the baby soldiers moniker....in my house, they are "your dolls"! haha
(as in, are you playing with your dolls again?)

I will take "baby soldiers" over "dolls" :)

She now has my daughter calling them baby soldiers....ahhh the female species {sm4}

Here you go Ruggles, look familiar??:):) I also love this curio, the 3 way lighting, the color of it, and plenty of room as you mentioned, i'm getting close to finishing her off and moving on to Curio 2, maybe one day I'll have a display like Wadepat:)...Sammy

Hi Ruggles, your curio already looks very good, and filling up nicely:)...Sammy

p.s. the only thing that sucks about these curios is you got to watch the your camera angle and position yourself away from the glass background, I'm always amazed to find my hand, arm, camera in the photo after I have taken the pic :)

Great looking cases Ruggles and Sammy and fabulous looking collections as well.

Ruggles, you can do what I did for extra space and get a 1/4 inch thick piece of plexi-glass cut and use it on the middle shelf that is supported by the wood of the cabinet itself. that will free up a glass shelf elsewhere in the curio. You will only then need 4 shelf pegs. !

Went to Home Depot tonight and bought the plexi-glass and extra shelf pegs. They could not cut the plexi-glass so I cut it myself. It works fine but I am not happy with my cuts on the edges of the plexi-glass, they just are not clean looking. But it will be fine for now. I will buy a new piece of plexi-glass and try again latter on.

Total cost was around $50 with tools and all.

Anyways now I have 6 shelves to use instead of 5 so thanks for the ideal :)
