Reports have reached Heid Central of the appearance on the streets of fresh Giant, Mutant, Killer Strawberries - despite the fact this is the worst winter weather within living memory in North China.

Thankfully some Patriots (groan) have been called out of barracks to tackle the fruity menace.

The fighting has been bloody (and juicy)....

With casualties on both sides....

Unfortunately, the Patriot resistance has proved to be somewhat 'armless (groan again)

Meanwhile the media have turned out in their droves, with CCTV's star reporter Ms Whiplash conducting on the spot interviews with the defenders leadership.

And here's a clandestine photo taken by a witness and smuggled past her PR machine, confirming the fact that Ms Whiplash needs to lay off the Big Macs for a while....

Mrs Heid has just informed me that some new American-Theme buffet restaurant has opened up in town - and has genuine Miller Light & Bud available, so we're getting ready to go and check it out in around one hour from now. Shall be interesting to see the Chinese interpretation of what a typical Chicago Diner is like. Last time I went to one of their "German Beirkellars" I could hardly drink my pint cos of the barely suppressed giggling at all the small misconceptions. Still, they do try their best.

Can't remember where I got Ilsa from - might have been Michigan TS's. While she's certainly great, she's just a wee bit too top-heavy for my somewhat refined tastes.....LOL....

I didn't notice that, but now I've had a second look - it certainly does...

Here's a snap taken from a different angle which clearly reveals that box of turnips is masquerading as a case of champers - and Ilse is actually a cunningly disguised Eddie Izzard, that well known British mincer.
