I can't tell you how impressed I am with the new Crusader series. These figures are pretty close to those high priced Russian figures in quality. I can't wait to see the Saladin and the diorama pieces. Look forward to seeing you and Gordon in Chicago.

4. “CRUSADER Cross & Crescent”

Apart from the initial batch of Knights…Men-at-Arms…and Siege Tower there’s a follow-up a couple of months later (well in time for Christmas) of Saladin (mounted) fighting Saracens (at least 15) and more Crusaders (including a catapult) and, I hope, several very special diorama pieces…

No dromedaries for this series…yet but a little surprise later in the year that does have dromedaries…hint! hint!

I know it's weird but, I just love the dromedarie set idea, I believe it was Steve in his K&C pictures when he visited Hong Kong who pointed out an arab and camel in the north Africa display.
I hope it's either that or Napoleons egyptian Campaign

Your probably right as Andy mentioned some Egyptians coming later, although you don't see a lot of Camels in the typical royalty scenes.

I think (or I wish) that the next AE sets will depict the life in a caravanserai. There, there is a lot of dromaderies Or it will be the next Christmas set. Or I am totally wrong

Anyway for Napoleonic fans we’re releasing a British Horse Artillery gun in action with a crew and a mounted Royal Horse Artillery Officer later this year.



There’s also a whole big bundle of French Infantry in action I hope to release at the same time.
