Hi All,

I was just going over the latest newsletter from Matt and must say the Crusader sneak peek was my favorite, the Warrior and monk are awesome!!!the warrior holding the flag has to be one of the best First Legion sets ever, the detail even in the flag is outstanding, I really wish I could collect this line.

also the new Vietnam series were up as well, another great new range, but alas no Paras as of yet for us WWII guys:( but Matt did mention another newsletter in early September for the run up to Chicago!:) so hoping there's some Paras in the Hyatt drop zone!! we'll see in about 7 weeks!...Sammy

Hey Sammy, I saw those same Crusaders in the workbench section this morning. They look pretty good side by side and the banner paintwork is outstanding.

Yes, they sure are beautiful figures.
Here's the pic from the workbench.

Two more "must haves" for my ever-developing Crusades diorama! This a a great time to be collecting the Crusades in 54mm.

disappointed there were no new Renaissance releases but happy about the Vietnam range.
The great thing about the Vietnam range is that you can make interesting dioramas with small numbers of figures. Three or four VC ambushing a small US patrol in the jungle or rice paddies is what I have in mind.

I only have one Crusades figure, as it has never been among my favorite historical subjects, but I have always admired FL's Crusades figures. The new sculpts pictured in the newsletter are real works of art. Just outstanding!!
