Check out John O'Brien (Obee on TF) He does all periods but has a special interest in the Napoleonic period.

Andrew,I purchased the FIW line yesterday myself so I will be looking for a good painter of 40mm here in the states. Some painters don't want to do the smaller scales so it may be a little hard to get someone.
Mark

Those caricatures are pretty neat aren't they.I see you only purchased the indians of the FIW line.I think they are the best ones too.
Mark

Mark,

Yes the FIW Indians are excellent figures, shame they are not 54 - 60mm.

The 54mm resin caricature figures are just so different.

Love the Highlander with one sock down and the face. :)

There are a couple of other a French and British soldier.

John,

Sorry I have not gotten back to you, I am still awaiting on the figures to arrive. I have some thing to pick up this afternoon from the post office so hopefully that is them.

I was waiting to have a look at them before talking to you again.

One of the boys on the forum made a comment the indians need to be put together.

I plan on send them to you to paint.

Talk to you shortly.

Regards

Andrew

They turned out well Andrew eventually...............:D (sorry) cant wait to see my turret.

Excellent work John. Great faces.

I don't fancy the chances of the Scot getting near that Frenchie with his bayonet.

Excellent work John. Great faces. Brett

Having a finely sculpted figure really helps with the painting to bring out the deatils.

Thanks for your kind comments, and send me the others when they arrive Andrew, I'm sure they'd also relish a 'lick of paint' :)

John

These are great! :).......I see that Napoleon is the correct stature! :p:D:D

Here is the next lot of figures/work from Obee.

The first are more figures from Thunder Bolt Mountain, 40mm metal American Indians and the others are some K&C UK Thin Red Line figures I had Corporals strips added to and a flagbearer that John in changing to the Regimental Flag (flag still to be finished), as K&C UK are not making anymore of these figures. He has gotten the flag loose from the figure to do the job (these flagbearers have the flag attched to the figures for some reason).
