Love the tank with the Kangaroo. I built this tank model in 1/35 from Tamiya when I was a teenager and it brings back memories...

Very nice Duke, especially the backdrop. Really tempted to collect these also, will resist and enjoy your offerings instead.^&cool, Robin.

Thanks Robin... I'm the same way when I see some of your collection.... tempted to collect/purchase, but I can't buy everything I like unfortunately so I enjoy viewing yours instead {sm4}

Nice job blending the landscape with the background; looks very realistic. I like that little Italian tank. The figures make a great addition to the scene.

I've got the German version but the Aussie is equally nice.

Thanks WO, that German version looks good too. I don't have it but may think about adding it to my AK collection

Always great seeing anything with a desert theme, but the wee Italian tank with the Kangaroo is a favourite. Wonderful back drop and figures too. Thanks for sharing Duke.

Duke, this must be one of your best scenes in my opinion . Magnificent back drop, very well done scenery and very nice figures and tank .I like it very much

Keeping those bases hidden is also very effective. Robin.

Thanks Robin, using real sand makes it easy to conceal the bases... just being careful not to let the sand scratch the figures.

Thanks Guy, I always appreciate your feedback and glad you like this

I have plastic sand which I think is less likely to do damage, but rarely use as I am too lazy to do the recovery process afterwards to ensure I get it all back into the bottle.^&grin, Robin.

I have not tried the plastic sand but that might be a good idea.

Duke mate,
Only one word to say about your nice little dio. "SWEET" I didn't think that a southern gentleman like your good self would collect Aussies. Maybe you should visit the Land Downunder and we could make you an Honourary Aussie.^&grin
Cheers Howard

PS I still have fond memories of our time together at the Texas Show in 2013

Thanks Howard. Of course I collect Aussies... one of my good friends and long time tennis partner is an Aussie that came to America to play college tennis and wound up marrying a Southern Belle and stayed, and of course meeting you and your lovely wife in Texas in 2013 and all the Aussies on the forum means I have several Aussie friends. :)

Would love to go to Australia one day (never been). Cheers
