I have purchased the Eighth Army and Normandy versions. They're great. K&C always finds a new way to impress me. These particular vehicles are 'unorthodox.' I love the usual tanks but these are fantastic because they are obscure.

Absolutely agree.I have two of these and like them so much much I get the third next week . I really like these little trucks and like the fact they are something different. They look great with figures and will work very well in dio's, great release from K&C and look forward to more from the 250 series.

I've got the RAF version to go with my Hurricane, my first K&C horseless carriage...

The normandy version IMO just edges it as the best release... Now that might change in a few minutes... though the RAF is nice also. No definately the normandy Its a great camo pattern
Mitch

Guys, the RAF version is probably my fave but they are all nice, the black and green camo is cool and is featured in many films and docus. Although obscure in collecting terms it appears in fact to have been a numerous and iconic little vehicle in all areas, K&C thinking outside the box with these.would go so well with Monty's command vehicles;)

Can't wait to get mine. The distributor just sent me an e-mail that,- if can believe all of you-, the little beauty has arrived . It is the Normandy version.
Hope I will not be disappointed.

I have seen a one of at bill moore's house in the chicago area. It has to be about 10 yrs old. I am sure kc will do one eventually

I think they are great myself! I only picked up the RAF model, but it really looks nice with the ambulance!

I wonder if we will indeed see the Royal Navy version of this as hinted at in the latest Collector, very good latest edition of that by the way.

Rob

I think we will and more than likely will see it as a 250 series added under the FOB series
Mitch

I've got the RAF and NORMANDY versions and think they are both great, nod goes to Normandy, just really like the Mickey Mouse camo pattern.

I have the RAF version and the DESERT version, NORMANDY version arrives tomorrow:D;)

Rob

Here is my D Day version that just arrived, and here are all three together.Hard to say which I like most as all are very nice vehicles, maybe the RAF version just shaves it, but D Day camo and weathering on Desert version make them all great releases.

Rob, they all look very good, but I would have to stick with the RAF version (slightly biased here as it was the one I bought!)

Jeff

Nice trio Rob. It just makes it harder to say which is the best when you see them all toghether like this.
Mitch

Thanks guys, I think all these version will make for some good dio scenes and I look forward to what might be next in the 250 series, by the sound of Collector it could be a fuel bowser.

Or a firetruck? lol hopefully both will be released in the next few months.

Have picked up my DDay version and am very pleased. Its my first K&C vehicle. Quality of production and sturdiness are excellent as is the paintwork.

Shame it doesnt have a towbar though, would have looked good with a trailer behind it- full of equipment and supplies of course. I assume the real life Austins had towbars ??

cheers
