Nice finish!

Rose-do you mean from John Eden? I didn't know that Rose (Russell Gammage) ever produced a kit like this. I wonder if this is the old Superior Models Skoda. Is the barrel rifled? The Superior kit reproduced the rifling inside the barrel.

Prost!

Gents,

This is the Skoda and Crew (well, 2 x basic castings) which has been sold on eBay by John Eden (eBay "handle" Roseminiatures), in the past.

The Gun and figures were originally made by Hecker and Goros. They only did the Officer and one Gunner, John has added a number of sets of arms. It is 1/32 scale.

It is a different (ie "later") "Mark/Model" than that depicted by Superior.

As an "Austronut", I have both sets in my collection. I would recommend both sets.

Happy Collecting,

Oberstinhaber

Here is a pic of the gun and crew that I have just completed for a fellow member on The Forum.

As mentioned, the gunners are Hecker & Goros, but the gun is a copy of a plastic 1/35 scale kit made by TAKOM.

Thanks for the nice feedback everyone I bought it from John Eden of Rose Miniatures but wasn’t aware of the actual maker until it was availed in the earlier posts. I have sold this one but Inhave another to paint. I hope it looks as good as the one Obee did which looks amazing.

Please post your gun when painted, but also check out other images on-line of what others have done with the plastic kit, there are some great painters out there :)
