Auto Login from Mozilla (1 Viewer)

I just changed over to Mozilla/Firefox from Internet Explorer as my browser, and have discovered that it automatically logs me onto the forum when I open it. For the brief moments when I could log onto the forum with IE on my office desktop, that didn't happen.Does anyone know why that changed with Mozilla, and is there a control/setting that will allow me to change that? Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

I believe it's an issue about the 'Remember me' button that is available when you log in. When that is clicked, you don't have to constantly sign in...you'll be remembered.

The default used to be that you had to click 'Remember me' to get it activated. Now the default is to have the box clicked, so anyone who doesn't want to be remembered simply needs to unclick the box before logging in.

Peter, Thanks kindly for trying to help me, but here's what happened when I was auto logged on today. I attempted to use your instructions, by first logging out. Then on the log out page that comes up, I clicked off the remember me as you suggested. I then closed Mozilla. Next, I opened Mozilla and clicked on forum from my bookmarks. Again, I was automatically logged in. It doesn't do that with Internet Explorer. It's not a big deal, but it makes me wonder if there's a serious problem on my end that needs attention. I'll be very happy when I have a separate laptop, because I will stop using this desk top for online service. Thanks again.

Yeah there is you can go to
1)Tools
2)Options
3)Security and the option is in there.

Peter, and Wayne, Thanks, I appreciate your attempted assistance, but this is still on auto. Well, as I said earlier, I will soon be on a laptop instead of this desktop, which I think has problems. Again, thanks for taking the time........Joe
