Well I have the Guard NA129 and he measures 62.5mm (sole to head)including base and 60mm without the base. Given the tall hat you have to estimate the top of the head but that is not too difficult actually. Of course the TF version of this figure uses the inches only ruler, which I do not care for. It also seems to have a slightly different camera angle. Compare it with NA128, which seems to correspond better with my own measurement or 2 15/32 inches sole to head with base (see why I don't like doing this in inchesSeems Coldstream bigger than Russians, no?
Which one was out of scale to the others Alex?
Interesting and unforunate to hear. These are hard to compare even with the TF ruler pictures since the Cuirassiers are shown with the wooden inches only ruler, which in these pictures is not very clear so it is hard to see the units, and the Chasseurs do not seem to have any ruler pictures.Take the Chasseur a Cheval for example (NA093, flag bearer) .. It conforms to the 1:30 scale perfectly.. But if you try to put any of the french Cuirassier right next to him... all those cuirassiers look like 1:32 if not smaller.
