I recently had some time to shoot this scene and thought I'd share it. I got this set earlier this year and think it is one of W Britains more finer releases. (The horse and powder cart are Jenkins)

Very nice combination of products! I am glad you liked this set, there was some doubt about it from some when I sculpted it. I suppose we could revisit it as a pre 1777 set too some day.

Nice! I have this canon set also I like it. Any chance we might see a American artillery set Ken?

Very good photo Mark,
and a nice idea to combine the Britains artillery with the Jenkins wagon.

Richard and I have spoken very recently about an American crew and gun... it is just a matter of squeezing it in with everything else we have going at the moment.

Ken,

Do your future plans include producing an AWI gun platform for the Yorktown redoubt pieces?

Super looking diorama.

Very nice picture - I do like these two sets also very much! Hope, Britains will produce a second gun set from the same brit. unit

Very nice. The grass is amazing. Where do you get it and how much is it?

Hi Russell,

Thanks for your nice comment. The grassy base is from H&A Studios--Ken and Ericka Osen. I think they cost around $45 - $50 for a 12" x 12" section.

These grassy bases are available from the fine folks at Treefrog Treasures as a 11" X 11" base @ $45.00 ea including shipping and handling.

We also produce custom grassy bases to your size... Price on Request direct. We can be PM with any questions.

These bases use a grassy material that will spring back up when a figure or vehicle is moved. It also is flat and stable and as a result most figures will stand up without the fear of them falling over.
We have also colored these in dried grass colors for some clients.

All the Best!

Great looking set- great picture- thanks a ton for sharing!!

I was curious to see how those grass bases looked with troopers on them.

Nice pics, I too have this set and I think it's one of W.B's. best American Revolution models. Please more artillary units!

Ditto the comment about combining the JJD powder cart - wish I'd thought of that. Another one for the wish list.

Hi There,
Nothing is on hand at the moment as far as I know. Many of our scenics go out the door without photography. As you know I make most of the scenics either to order or on spec and then we sell them. Usually we only take photos of the 11" X 28" or larger.
I will check and see what we have in the workshop and take a few pictures in the next day or so.
It has been very busy here working on new patterns for W. Britain, H&A and others, so I am a bit behind on posting.
Thanks for asking!
Ken
