I tried to do them so they blend in with the Britains AWI figures.

Your painting is top notch as it brings out all the details in these figures.

A suggestion for your next batch. The trigger guard and nose cap on the "Brown Bess" musket were brass and the barrel band was non existent on that weapon. You can extend the steel color of the ramrod all the way to that "hump" on the stock. There were brass "pipes" down the stock to hold the ramrod.

I hesitate to buy these figures because I'd want to remove the band and put a sling on the musket. Too bad that wasn't done as the material for the sling would strengthen the musket and keep it straighter.

"I'm not an expert but" I wore the grenadier kit and fired the Bess in the 10th Regt of Foot back in the late 70s. That's me standing on the parapet.
