AWI figure BR49 which is correct? (1 Viewer)

You bet ! That would be a $150 USD figure - not sure how that Pound is doing these days for what the GBP price :)

These are kinda of the figures K&C should look at for the American Revolution range - many of us collectors want to buy multiples.

:D
Couldn't agree more, I would have definately liked around 6 to 10 (actually loads if financially feasible) of those walking alongside the cart , whereas like you say only one shouting sergeant is required!

What would you pay for one of those figures if K&C put a price on them?, I reckon I would go up to around £75.00. :D

LOL you trying to tempt me out onto LIVEBID with it?? :D

Livebid by the way will be back in 2009!!! you wait and see some of the openers we have!!

Hi, tony, a question about the first 2 images in this thread, are they of the same casting, just painted at different times?

Thanks!
Brad

Hi Baron

The paint style would signify that the one on the left is a lot more recent to the second. And would have changed in production.

With regards the arm height and gun position!! this i am not sure of this could also have been a reproduction alteration! Andy would be a better one for this!!

Hi Tony / Andy,

Please can you tell if the latest figures in stock ... are with the raised rifle position. If so ... this small change alone would tempt me to buy this further "new addition" to infantry line.

Maybe K/C should consider re-releaseing the figure BR49 carrying the gun instead of the one shouting........This would allow us to make multiple purchases for diorama use......I originally had the same idea to purchase multiples of this figure for a marching battalion.......This is why I did not purchase the wagon with the soldier shouting.....however I would have purchased these if the original figure was available......ah! what might have been!

Ehi wait..it's good to release the figure carrying arm BR060a but let's make it a little different...otherwise i'll lose a little treasure...don't you think?

absolutely ... can't have that happen. Maybe, the new guys can have bayonet fixed.

As the plug has just been pulled on the 16th / 17th Dragoons series, I think it is extremely unlikely that will will see any variations now of these troops.

I would have loved to get a bunch of Cantinetozzo's 16th Dragoon figure (sorry to diminish your treasure;)) and as you say with bayonet fixed and even some in a firing pose.

Would also have been great to see some 17th Light Dragoons in various charging poses!!!! :D

Thanks Cornwallis..a bayonet should be fine...:)btw like you i hope in the next future there will be some serious addictions to this range...with the indians gone (unfortunately..but i'm tryin' to find some of them through other sites) there's space for some loyalist militia that we hope could match the indians wonderful poses ..
