I continue to enjoy my new Grenadiers. Thought I would provide some different photo perspectives of these figures so others could get a better idea of what they look like. Sorry for the repetition, however I did get a UPS notice this morning that I will have 7 more new arrivals next Wednesday ^&grin . . that should help to add more interest to future photos . . .

These three photos were taken using the Hudson & Allen 11" x 28" diroama and backdrop "At the Edge of the Forest" which I purchased from Ken and Ericka Osen at the 2010 OTSN Chicago show:

Glad you like the photos so far . . . if you think they look good in these photos you should experience seeing them "in hand" . . . . . The perspective continues with a close up of (in order of photo) AWI026 Company Officer, AWI027 Company Drummer, AWI028 Company NCO, and AWI033 (bandage on head under bearskin) & AWI033 Grenadiers Marching . . .

Here's the last photo in this series . . . All five Grenadiers in line advancing.

My purpose for this series was to show the details that are in these figures which are often difficult to discern on web site stock photos, and also give the collector a perspective of how they would appear on a display/diorama base . . . enjoy ^&grin

Great close up shots Mike, and this Edge O' the Wood setting is ideal for them. Also exciting to note you've 7 more on the way already and am eager to see photos of the bigger group once they've arrived. Sounds like you've got big plans for this range. :)

Nice to see you continuing to featuring your newly arrived AWI figures Mike an again they're very nicely staged and photograph.

Mike, your enthusiasm is clearly evident. For me excitement returns every time I pull them out to setup a new scene.

Thanks for sharing all these pictures. I love seeing First Legion combined with Hudson and Allen.

Fascinating figures, I love the detail, each one has a different face and expression. This is an excellent series, but can anyone tell me of an FL range that isn't?:wink2:.
Thank you so much for the excellent photos, they speak volumes for FL's quality, something no stock photos can do.

Not to bad for just having an inexpensive point and shoot Vivitar camera. Someday I would like to be able to afford a Nikon D300 w/18-200mm zoom lens like you use. I always like the clarity and crispness quality you achieve in your photographs . . .

Mike, thanks for posting more excellent pics! These figures and Hudson & Allen's products go together so well. It is truly the best of the best when you combine these two. You are right to say the only thing better is to have some of these figures in hand. I would agree wholeheartedly, though your pics do a pretty good job as it is.

From one AWI fan to another, I'm glad to hear you are enjoying this range so much. Please keep us updated when you recieve your second shipment. Did I mention I was jealous of that.....

WOW , Simply superb :smile2: . I am really looking forward to following your story line as both this line and your collecting of it expand . After looking at your photo's I think I can no longer resist the company drummer  Regards Gebhard

Outstanding photography,

well done !!!

I love the shot showing the troops walking in-line, officer leading, sergeant bring up the rear, and I love your background.

I have already say something about this range, even though I do not collect those, but in IMO is the best FL released range for 2010.

Great shots Mike...
Ps. I if allow me to make a comment, I will add some contrast-darkness on the photo

Cheers.

Ok, Michael...it's Wednesday...where are the reinforcements?! Let's see them!

LOL - Sounds like you're anxious to see them Nicholas. Well they got here about an hour ago and after enjoying them for a bit I took a photo of them together with the five pictured here. Got to finish some editing. Thread coming up in a couple of minutes titled "And then there were twelve"
