Does anyone know if the broken pontoon on First Legion’s AWI044 British 22nd Foot NCO can be repaired and re-shipped?

I have tried to repair FL parts, like swords, rifles etc, but the metal is very brittle and i have trouble drilling it.

My suggestion would be to replace the broken part of the spontoon with a new piece of wire.
If it is the upper part, with the blade, I'd then trim the blade, drill it and attach that.

If you can get a replacement, that is the best.

AWI044 is notorious in terms of the pontoon, you will be very lucky to get one that is not damaged. This why FL is selling the figure at a low price. I replaced the pontoon with a rifle and called it a day!
