First Legion is extremely pleased to present two new regiments in winter dress for our American Revolution product series, the 8th and 12th US Continental infantry! The 8th Continental infantry was originally the 2nd NH and participated in the Boston Campaign as well as the New York campaign. One interesting note is that the flag for this regiment (2nd NH) is one of the only surviving flags to emerge from the War. Alongside them we have the 12th Continental Regiment. Like the 8th, this regiment originally from MA, participated in the Boston and NY campaigns and has been presented with the Grand Old Union flag as would be appropriate for this timeframe. Both regiments fought at the Battle of Trenton. As the first winter American Revolution figures that have been produced that we are aware of, these figures will make a great addition to collections of figures of this period and we hope to add more figures, including British/Allies, to expand upon the winter campaigns.

Simply stunning. I haven't pulled the plug on First Legion American War of Independence figures, but these figures might force me to do so.

Thanks Matt! I can't tell you how delighted I am that you have revisited the AWI once again! These figures look fantastic and will find a home with me in 2020.

Hoping to see FL produce the Hessian Fusilier Regiments Von Knyphausen, Von Lossberg and Grenadier Regiment Von Rahl to complement these sets.

These are beautiful figures. Jockey Hollow National Park is about 10 minutes from where I live and in the winter of 1779-1780 the Continental Army camped out there. I assume these units were among those who spent the winter there. I believe from what I read that it was a rather cold winter.

If you are wondering whether to buy these - DO IT!
These figures are fantastic!!!

I’ll have to check again, but I believe they were stationary

If you want to recreate the Battle of Trenton and don't want to wait for FL to make Hessians there is a solution.
JJD's Hessians can easily be modified to fit the bill. The primary difference with his Saratoga Hessians and the
Trenton Hessians are collar, cuff and pom pom colors. Even if your painting skills are limited the job is not over
whelming. And there are those experts out there who can do it for you at reasonable costs that will still keep the figure
less expensive than FL.
Just a suggestion. JJD's Hessians are some of their best sculpts!
