I know this has been suggested on threads of price increases..but, its worth a try. My purchases of King and Figarti over the years has left me with little display space and sometimes hard feelings by my wife who is more budget conscious. Recently, I have found a way to buy a couple of really expensive items that I really want but, perhaps, dont absolutely need. Then, as my disease overtakes me, again, I start going backwards in time, without sacrficing much quality, and start picking away at earlier figures and tanks. The sting of a 300+ dollar plane subsides when I purchase a 185 dollar plane that I had missed (even though 185 isnt exactly cheap). I buy a 33 dollar single figure...and the next month, I pick up one on ebay for 28. I notice on ebay that there is a lah currently for sale starting at 24. If I purchased that..then, I can ease the sting of a 35 dollar new figure. A new purchase is a new purchase...the excitement of getting a package in the mail...the opening of it as a gift to me...its new...its still high quality..and it fits a void in a particular line I am interested in. I still do business with my favorite dealer(s)..and, I once in a while get a bargain at an auction site. For me, its alot more healthy and enjoyable then just getting upset by the higher prices which are causing me to diminish my craving all together. I see a French tank for 105 that I dont have w/figures. Then, next month I can save for that new warbird. I still havent solved my display problems at home..and I know I will never find these quality figures at a garage sale...but, I want to stay in the game..and this is one way that it helps me to hang in there.
