I was over at Louis' today and took some photos. I'll be posting them gradually as I have to resize each one but I thought you all might be interested in some of the older rarer non World War II, some things most of you may never have seen.

The Civil War, by the way, is all glossy.

Those are some classics, and a lot of rare soldiers there, with that being said, you can see just how far King and Country has come on sculpting, as I am assuming those are much older pieces. Why is it the older ones always look better in glossy, and the newer stuff looks better in matte? Anyways, a great collection, and one to be proud of for sure.

I noticed that you have ope shelves to display your collection. How do you keep the dust away? Any special blower? Just curious.

These are not the best photos because of the glare but in the picture on the left you can see some of the very rare Free French and on the right a couple of the 82nd Airborne. The second photo shows some more of the 82nd Airborne. All these are glossy.

Some Afrika Korps photos. The third photo is interesting. There's a unique British tank in the back and the one in the front is an AK version of a WS 26 Panzer IV. Andy made a prototype but decided not to put it into production and Louis was able to snag it. Too bad, it's quite neat looking.

By the way, that ambulance is very rare. I think only around 30 or so were made. I would kill to get one.

Wow Louis,

I’m always amazed to see your collection, it’s simply awesome! I have a couple of questions for you. The Vietnam era armor vehicles displayed, what kind of material are they made out of, wood? I see you can see right through the treads/ tracks.

Very nice British Sherman North Africa, I’m envious. When did Andy produced t, was it a customized job and was it a repaint of previously released tank?

The LRDG is sweet, tell Andy he has to produce another one, it will sell. I know I’d buy one and at least three others, LOL. I’m just kidding, I think the timing may be right to make this release commercially viable.

Can you tell us more about the Shermans behind the glass? Are the KC’s, customized, and if and when they were released?

I know, I should have come to the Symposium, maybe in the future but it’s the week after the West Coaster.

Greetings from NYC!

As good as these images are (and Brad has done an awesome job of putting them here for us), they still don't do complete justice to the collection.

I had a few minutes to look at it yesterday before the symposium dinner - and it's just amazing to see the history of K&C right before your eyes. I've seen images of most of what is there - but taking it all in at once is quite a treat.

For Louis it's a labor of love. We have the pleasure to sit back and enjoy it!
