Hi Guys,

A couple of months back we were contacted about Gordon building a large diorama that combined elements of our “German Field Hospital” and the Russian Factory… Gordon set to work and here is the result –

As you can see it is set in the early days of Hitler’s invasion of Russia…A column of German vehicles and infantry pass by the ruins and remains of a Soviet Factory. A soviet political officer has had the misfortune to fall into German hands. As the column prepares to move forward he is led to the rear.

We’re “shooting” a Russian Red Army response later. I’ll send you a pic or two more then.

Another Gordon special, excellent building and surrounds. No doubt following a Russian assault, this will become a temporary German hospital followed by a quick retreat as it is over run by the Red army.:salute::, Robin.

An early flakpanzer with a Flak 38 mounted on a Panzer I?

They were field conversions of Panzer I. Very few were made because the gun overloaded the vehicle. Only 24 were made and only one unit (Flak Batt. 614) used them in Romania and lter in Rusiia. The unit was wiped out at Stalingrad.

What a unique and interesting AFV. And it comes in grey. ^&grin It certainly fits in the Barbarossa diorama. But with the expensive open top and several crew members, I wonder if it is a one-of conversion for the custom diorama or is even a 1:35 plastic model???

I'm interested in one.

The flakpanzer looks good and i'll certainly be getting one but now i'll have to keep nagging away at Andy to produce a demag with a flak gun mounted on it! {sm3}
