Barkmann's Panther vs Winter Panther (1 Viewer)

Thanks much Ana, I'll do just that.
I've also got the winter field kitchen and the winter field kitchen with food line coming in (NO willpower when it comes to collecting). I can't wait to see 'em.

Looking forward to what else you'll have in the pipeline for '07.

Fred, Will do and Thanks !

No problem, Mike. The mg's also look great some K&C tanks, winter & Wittman tiger and the Normandy panther to name a few. If I can help in any other way just shoot me a PM, I'm taking a break from the forum as it's gotten annoying and no longer a source of relaxation or enjoyment.

Well since I started this thread I thought I should give everyone an update. I got my Winter Panther for my birthday and it is great. I am very happy with it. The weathering and detail is just fantastic. Glad I got this for my birthday.

I also have to comment on the soldiers I think they are very good. Yes I think K&C soldiers are a bit better but I was impressed and happy with them. Plus I think they will work fine with my K&C troops. Even my wife liked the subject matter of the soldier holding up diner and thought they were very good. (Of course I mentioned the Winter Field Kitchen set would look great with this set)

I could use a little advice as I had a very minor piece of damage. Somehow something scratched the paint above the bogies and below the armor skirt. Does anyone have a suggestion on what black paint to use to touch this up and how to?

A couple of suggestions from me to Honour Bound:

1. Packagings most important job is to get the product to the customer safely. I think your packing is very good in that regard. Like most collectors I do not have the room to display all of my stuff at one time but rotate things during the year. For this reason I do need to repackage things on occasion. It is difficult to repackage the Winter Panther. I know that packaging is an art form and many requirements must be balanced. If there is a way to make it easer to repackage the tanks and still keep them safe I would appreciate that.

2. In the “Can of Worms” thread there have been some great ideas for future product. It seems that Honour Bound it looking to do a Tiger tank. Well what can I say I love Tiger tanks. I know everyone does them but a really great one like the Winter Panther would have me buying one. What can I say you can never have enough good Tiger Tanks and there is always room for one more in my collection.

3. I also do love the idea of a damaged Panther. It would be something different and would add to a diorama. I would hope you would do a Winter one and Summer.

Well that is it for now. Love my new Winter Panther and thank you to TORICDA for the pictures and everyone for their comments that helped me make my decision.

Fred I hope you stay on the forum as you have helped me out a couple of times with answers to questions. You have always been nice to me. I would hate to see you go.

Take care,
Old Guard
