Barzso Battle of Lexington and Concord - first look at one of the figures (6 Viewers)

Scott and Jeff,

Thx for your comments... you're interest is appreciated.

Just a word about creating a playset.. When deciding what accessories are to be included, the thinking is that they shouldn't be too specific to a particular place, but what can be used in other scenarios.. so yeah, we're aware the village of Lexington most likely didn't have lamp posts and would possibly have more regular looking fence, but these items will lend themselves very well to other scenarios, be it a larger town or an even more rurual setting..

Again, collectors' feedback is ALWAYS welcome.

Best Regards,

Jim

Those lamps won't be out of place in a number of settings.

"The first lanterns along the streets of Philadelphia were installed sometime after 1757. Franklin's English lamp design was an improvement on the previous colonial lanterns. In 1773, a John Hancock-led committee installed 310 lamps in Boston. They burned whale oil and were lit in the evening between October 1 and May 1."

I'd like to get 4-6 of those lamps for a city set-up. They're good up to the 1900s.

I was wondering if the new Barzso playset will have the British firing line included or will it be only the 8 figure configuration?

Any idea when these Rev War figures will be released?

They are available for PRE-ORDER now at barzso.com

Will be "officially" released at the Chicago Show just 3 weeks away!

Thx

Jim

There will be one set (16 figures in 4 poses) of the British firing line in each playset.. The other British figures will be sets of the 8 pose configuration.

Thx,

Jim

So here's the figure break down for each playset:

British Grenadiers 16 figures in 8 poses X 3 sets = 48 figures
British firing line 16 figures in 8 poses X 1 set = 16 figures (4 of the poses from Grenadier set)

Minutemen 16 figures in 8 poses BLUE X 2 sets = 32 figures
Minutemen 16 figures in 8 poses TAN X 1 set = 16 figures (same poses as blue)

Character figures:

Major. John Pitcairn X 1 = 1 figure
Capt. John Parker X 1 = 1 figure
Paul Revere X 1 = 1 figure

TOTAL FIGURES per playset = 115

Thx again,

Jim

No problem,

I sculpt the original models for all of Ron's foam pieces, maintain his website, do some artwork, etc. And we've become friends...

Hope this helps..
