Does anyone know if the Nottingham Castle is in separate pieces, or is it one enormous model?
Also, if you have one, and it's not hard, can you post pictures of the individual sections?
Thanks in advance!!!
Zach

I dont have any pix , but yes it is in parts. Each wall has a tower and turret. Main gets has several pieces , the keep is in 2 very large parts, a bottom and top level. Really a wonderful set.

Here are three pix of the pieces... The tops of the towers are actually separate, too. . the full castle is available again through Barzso's website: http://barzso.com/playsets/nottingham-castle.html

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thx,

That's great! Thanks so much for the help - exactly what I needed to see! (and yes, order will be in monday! I am out of control and you all just enable me! haha)

Zach...

I'm pretty sure this piece was at the show...
almost positive I saw it there...

maybe on Michigan Toy's table or the guy next to him...

Nick would have killed me if I asked him to bring that home for me!!!! {sm4}

hahaha...

yea...he's mad at me cause I gave him so many things to ship home to me...

not mad really...

but I think I was a nuisance to him...

and that I have imposed on him more than he had offered when he suggested me not taking them on the plane back home...

he's sick right now...

the show kicked his rear end...

he has the flu and is on the mend...

and yea...that is a big piece...but Barzso ships very reasonably if they have the piece...

Yep, it was there on the 1st floor in the corner.

He is sick, Tyler is sick, I got sick, John Stengle Jr sounded sick when I said goodbye to him at the hotel coffee shop Monday morning; driving halfway across the country, setting up rooms full of toy soldiers, working crazy hours, stuck in a hotel room breathing that crappy, recirculated air for a week, packing and humping the product downstairs Saturday and setting it all up Saturday night and Sunday morning, selling all day long, then packing it all back up and loading it into the van and then driving back home.

Gee, don't understand how any of us could get sick........:rolleyes2:..........then to top it off, Nick did a show the weekend before in VA, so he was on the road for twelve strait days; such is the life of a toy soldier dealer.

And truth be told; I wouldn't want it any other way, beats working for a living....................:wink2:

hey...

somebody sneezes on a box...

it starts an epidemic...

I touch it...you touch it...he touches it...it multiples geometrically...

towards the end with my Dad...
as he loved to go to the casinos and we would play Pai Gow...
seems like almost every time I took him...
he came home with a cold...

those poker chips that get passed from hand to hand...
they are like the perfect virus carrier...

to this day...
I wipe my shopping cart handles with those antiseptic towels by their front door before I put my hands on them...

now...

couple all that with the fact that you guys only get 3-4 hours of sleep a night for 5-6 day stretch...

and yea...you're the perfect host...

He is definitely out of control {eek3}

If I recall, Zach is a personal injury lawyer, which explains him putting banana peels and bars of soap on the floor of the hotel lobby, then handing out business cards to slip and fall victims in Chicago..............that's one way to fund a toy soldier addiction................:wink2:

Larry and I were talking about the same thing Mike, we talked about the elevator button, door handles, the thousands of toy soldiers in my displays that get touched and retouched, not to mention what is on the bills that get passed around the show, especially the benjamins; Larry told me all about them, wow..................I do the same thing you do with the carriages at the store, a lot of good it does me, I get a flu shot every year before Chicago too.

I got mine the week before I left, then a doctor customer of mine out there tells me it takes TWO weeks to work AND, all it does is prevent the flus that have all come out already, not the new strains that pop up every year.

Great, thanks for the info Doc......{sm2}

Well, I was around you bums for a few days, not to mention having to fly back and forth and be in close quarters with all those great people, and I feel great!

George...

I stole a couple of bites of your ribeye when you went to the bathroom...and I feel okay too...^&grin

if you had drank 2-3 more drinks Friday night...

you would have killed any germs lurking in your body...

I figure if I nail one per show, it all works out!

Agreed on the booze, will have to step up my game next year and plan ahead to avoid any further sickness..................

Zach told me he had allotted 2 hours each day in Chicago for handing out business cards at the local hospitals...

right before I left...

we were talking on the front veranda...

we heard an ambulance in the distance...

Zach instinctively pulled out a business card and frantically sniffed the air like a bloodhound...

he told me he used to practice in Texas...

but had some legal problems there...

so he changed his name and grew that beard...

but I found one of his old videos...

The Texas Hammer...

Zach I love you...I would take you in court any day to represent me...I bet you would be a bulldog!

Sounds like an idea for a TV show, "Better Call Zach"

I'd pay top dollar to see that rig start rolling down the highway during that commercial and see if he could survive an impact with an overpass.

Either way, it's going to be interesting.
