One can only hope that the programme was heavily cut, as the amount of "training" that the youngsters experienced was inadequate to say the very least and the comment that "they were now as tough as WW2 paras" must have had the veterans hurling their zimmer frames at the TV sets. Good luck to the kids who volunteered for the experience as it was obviously a huge culture shock for them and it was a pity that a small faction let them down with their glue sniffing habits. Next week we will see if they can go through with the jump.
