Having received the two Jenkins King Tigers and planning a trip to La Gleize, I decided to create a display. Still waiting for a house facade to finish the display off, the current wall is a stand in. The battle for the last barrels of fuel has begun in December 1944.

An outstanding display showcasing your big "cats". Nicely staged and photographed.

Quite impressive these beautiful cats! Thanks for sharing your collection.

Cheers,

Reminds me of a scene in The Battle of the Bulge movie, although only a Tiger not a King. Very cool. Robin.

Thank you for your kind words. Contemporary photos of La Gleize show a rural town with roads and squares without asphalt. I hence used cat litter as the base. It also helped absorb some of the moisture from the glue and I had no warping. And before you ask: yes, the litter was unscented.
