Battle o Tarawa, November 20th-23rd, 1943................. (1 Viewer)

Wow! again! There is a lot of realistic work that went into your diorama. Keep them coming.

I love these George. It brings me back to the Marx sets I had as a kid. Yes a few figure diorama can show a more accurate day to day life of the participants of the conflicts we study. But there is something about a mass toy soldier battle that brings me back to my love of toy soldiers as a kid. I sometimes think we over think this hobby.

Thanks Chuck and I agree..........for me, masses of troops and sweeping action is the ticket.

With 20mm, it's easy to do and the visual eye candy effect is striking in person.

Sure, the two figures, one tank, sandbag wall and backdrop is nice and it works for the larger scale, but not in my preferred scale.
