I received this boxed set as a birthday gift, they are 54mm, solid, and obviously there are no marks on the bases. The box seems a little generic. Anyone seen anything similar?

A nice little puzzle! They look familiar, like something I've seen in TS&MF. I'll have to go through the back issues and see if I can find anything.

And no markings on the box, I take it? Have you also taken the foam core out of the box, to see if anything might be tucked or written under it?

I think I've seen pilots like these from Good Soldiers, a British company I think.

Hi Brad. Yes I have searched the box, no marks apart from a warning about the dangers of lead toys. Perhaps there was originally a paper slip, giving details.
jazzeum, thanks, I have just looked at some pics of Good Soldiers, the bases look the same, and the style is similar. I have seen some lovely detailed pics on Google, but no mention of this company, perhaps it has gone to the wall like so many others.
