I just received my defensive barricades for Carillon/Ticonderoga so here is my diorama using them. I cannibalized the French forces from POA to man
the walls. Also used Frazer’s Highlanders (not sure if they were at Carillon but they fit in very well.) With the exception of the defensive walls from
Jenkins, the fauna has been picked up from outside in the backyard. It has dried for some time now but still retains its color. I like using the live fauna
from outside. The display case is a Mission china cabinet that I now house my collections in.

Left one image out. It should have been the third image in the first post instead of duplicating the fourth image.

How many barricades in the display --- More than 2? Are you planning on utilizing the marching sets?

2 barricades - each are about 10" long. They really are a nice addition to this series. The rest of the ground cover is real fauna from the yard.

I am not so much interested in the marching sets as I am w/ the action pieces unless John comes out w/ line figures preparing to fire or reloading. Also looking for Black Watch climbing the barricade & hand to hand combat.

A really nice display Samwise,
I made a similar dio with my five sections. I placed them in half moon position having a good depth and used the same French troops as you. In addition I placed some Roussillon figures from Frontline, not too bad.
Really I hope John will release new sets of French regiments present to Carillon like Berry, La Reine, Bearn and Guyenne.
French gunners for the swivel cannons and wounded and climbing Highlanders needing.
Carlo
