This is still a work in progess. I have a lot more ground work to do on the third/last shelf. Anyway, I thought you guys might want a look at what I have done so far.

I will post my pictures in 3 posts. Each post will reflect a different shelf in my curio.

My Monongahela curio. Yes, that is the HMS Victory sitting on top.

2nd Shelf.

Braddock just behind the advance party. He motions with his sword with the first firing for reinforcements to move forward. Orme's horse rears with the first firing of the guns. (Yes, I switched their horses on this shelf)

This shelf contains two artillery limbers, a small wagon, a powder wagon, Virginia Militia and 44th Regulars.

Oooooooooooooh Darrell.

That case is entirely too crowded........I really think you should send some of the BM04's and BM05's my way.

As a friend...........I'll always be there to help you with your excess soldiers and duplicates, hehe.:D:D:D

You know I'm kidding, and,

YOU KNOW I'M JEALOUS!

Great display Darrell, very cool.:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

See you got the photobucket down quick, nice shots.

3rd Shelf.

The battle is now 2 hours old. General Braddock was just struck by enemy fire. Panic is on the verge of taking over. Chaos is everywhere along the line.

The view from the rear of the line. The enemy is on three sides and now trying to cut off any possibly of retreat.

The front of the column. The 44th is now standing in ranks at times 15 men deep. One of the cannons has been taken.

Thank you Mike for the posting tip!!!

I simply cannot tell you how much I LOVE YOUR DIORAMAS !!

Those Marching Troops are really, really, COOL !!

Great stuff - Tip of my hat to you ! ;)

You taught Darrell good Michael great photos and entrance to the forum Darrell......The Lt.

Fantastic. It impresses upon me that the more Jenkins figures you have displayed, the better they seem to look. I really do think that has something to do with John's background in theatre.

Darrell

You have done a great job with your very impressive collection and photos. All you need now is to add sound with the "British Grenadier" playing in the background. I think between you and Mike Miller you guys could refight the French & Indian War:)

Combat is right. The more figures the better they look.Just curious but how many BM 4's & 5's sets do you have.

Thanks guys for the comments. I have a lot I plan on doing on the 3rd shelf that contains the fighting. A slow process for me.

I have (7) BM04's and I have (19) BM05's in the curio cabinet. There are a total of 77 sets of the JJD Monongahela Series in my display.

The one set I am missing is BM03. Man, I really would like to own that set one day.

Thanks again guys.

Darrell

You have quite a chunk of the British Army. The BM-03 is really rare,a true collector's item.Even guys who have a lot of sets don't have this.Who does have this set.Come on guys speak up,who's got it?Admit you have it,nobody's going to break in to your house and steal it..

I have a BM03, no im not selling it. Now im going to lock it up in my safe. :D The only sets I need are BM01, BM02, BM06 and no luck finding them.

I have a BM-03. Beware if you do get one that the flag is so heavy the flag bearer is prone to tip over. John corrected that problem with other sets.

That would be one of the earlier sets wouldn't it Combat?Which do you have?

Lovely display cabinet, and terrific displays! Wonderful that you shared them

with us! It was a pleasure to see them!
