Battle of Monongahela...Part II...Braddock's Revenge (1 Viewer)

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!what a great collection...if I could only stop collecting King and Country and Britain's along with Thomas Gun I might be able to ketch up with you ....even though I do have alot of John Jenkins myself..........It,s terrific to see a collector so dedicated to the hobby!!!!!!!!!!

I feel your pain...there is so much I want, that I need to hit the lotto to get it all.

MIKE...If you want to make some spare money come to canada shovelling snow pays good money,,,ha...ha

Aurelious "Manitous" Desbien...

I would last 5 minutes shoveling snow...

how much can I make in 5 minutes...

enough for a couple of BM03's on Ebaaaaaaay...

I don't like cold weather.....:D

Dear Mike

Besides the open terrain, your French/Indians are grossly outnumbered ... and have been placed in an enveloped position. That's not playing fair. JJD should make more French releases, Grenadiers perhaps.

.. love your collection. Pre-20th century warfare is best represented by masses of troops, guns & horses :)

Best wishes & a Merry X'mas to all

Well...the truth is...they were historically grossly outnumbered at Monongahela...but that didn't stop their route of Braddock there...I think my flat table and the lack of trees will ensure a British victory this time...

thus changing history forever...

but I like your idea of more French for B of M...

thanks for the compliment...Merry Christmas to you too

That is a most impressive collection and just in time for Christmas. Unfortunately those sets that I am waiting for will not be available til well after so you are fortunate indeed Mike.

You had best get working on the trees though lest you create an an alternate history thread in which none of us (or JJ) even exist.:D

Thank you 10TH LA....

thank you OldDragon...

thank you Bill...

Everything is in the China hutch now...I took some pictures...but the quality of the photos eludes me...

angles, glares, reflections, tight shots, etc...

anyway...they do look better in person than in my photos...

and are easier to get access to without hunting through little red boxes...

I don't think I will return them to their boxes but continue to display them this way instead...
