Battle of Nagashino - 29th June 1575 - Oda's Samuraï (1 Viewer)

Very nicely done and thanks for sharing your dio with us. FL's Samurai range is spectacular looking and has often drawn my attention. For some time now I have thought about collecting something other than ACW or AWI. As beautiful as the various Samurai figures are, especailly the archer, I just don't know a thing about the history behind them . . . so for now, I will admire them from afar through other's collections such as yours . . . . .
:) Mike

Hello Mike,
Thanks for your warm comments much appreciated!.
You are right, Samurai range is very spectacular and now I'am waiting for Takeda's mounted samurai! I 'am collecting ACW range too.
You find some details about the battle of Nagashino on my blog (with english version, even if my english is not prefect).
Best regards from France.

marvellous, Nagashino is an unmitigated tragedy for the takedas.

your display is very very good :smile2:

Very nice set-up! I prefer painted backgrounds, as seen in your display, to photo backgrounds for dioramas that represent pre-1900 periods.

I have some of the FL samurai figures and they are very colorful and animated. A nice diversification for any toy soldier collection!

Xavier, I am with most of the other guys. I don't know anything about the Samurai, but I can certainly appreciate your diorama. Your scene is well worth the effort you put in!

Hello Lasalle-
WOW!! Great looking shot!! I am seriously considering opening up the purse a bit to buy FL's samurai cavalry figures. I think those figures look amazing. Neat to see what you have done so far- love seeing things outside the more popular ranges of all companies.

Hello,
Thanks a lot my friends for your support
I'am working now on two news displays.
Hope to post the 1st one before two weeks.
Best regards from France.
Xavier
