It's limited because nowadays Andy makes more of an item than just 1,250. With proper marketing, he hopes to expand the interest for K & C. If that is the case, he will be making product in larger quantities than currently, thus making a Limited item limited in nature.

I believe that 999 of an item is sufficient but he believes otherwise, whether or not we think so and since he's done as well as he has, who am I to say that he's wrong?

With a "Strictly Limited" edition set, K&C states there will only be a certain number of a set made. With its regular sets, there is no announced number, so K&C can make as many as it can sell. An example is WS43, "Tiger 007 with Michel Wittman," which has a production run of over 2000. I am sure K&C did not have 2000 made at one time, but ordered additional production over time to meet demand. K&C also used the mold for WS43 to make the "Strictly Limited" WS070SL Winter Tiger. This allows K&C to maximize its investment in sculpting the Tiger tank and also make variants desired by collectors. In the future, I hope to see the SdKfz 250/3 halftrack sculpted for "Rommel's Greif" used again with different paint schemes (and new improved tracks).:)

Now wouldn't a new and improved Greif sell well for K & C - hint hint :)

How about a Hanomag with improved tracks and the rocket launchers on the side like the one Corgi made when I was a kid (as long as we are just wishing).

a 251/22; what a beauty that would be; there are loads of 251 variants that could be produced............

You have that one right Warrior,

The possibilities with that vehicles are endless.

Back in October, Ana said they were going to eventually do a platoon of infrared Panthers with its supporting Infantry and an Sd Kfz 251/20 mounting a 60 cm IR search Light. So, maybe we'll at least see that.

I've got that too. I even have a few of the bright red rockets left in it's trailer! it's a cool toy.

I still have mine mint in the box (I was never allowed to play with Corgi or Dinky, they were for display - I played with and destroyed airfix and plastic Britains, Ltd.) along with about 50-75 other vintage Corgi and Dinky items. They will probably fill a display case in the soon to be K&C museum.

I had dinkys and airfix and have no regrets about playing with them to death as a kid.....Later in life I have bought a couple of dinky toys to keep and admire.

The Dinky flak 88 is a good one too.

Dinky toys were well made and pretty robust. Mine took a lot of punishment and still came up firing. In fact i'm gonna fire my rocket launcher right now just for the fun of it. :D

Eazy, you just live life on the edge don't ya. :D

Well my wife's fast asleep and it's late. What else am I gonna do except talk nonsense on here and fire plastic rockets? :)

Yep,

You do make a convincing arguement. I might just dig out my son's (yeah right) Nerf gun and go hunting the cats.

sure Andy is the chief of his company, so we can only suggest him our impressions,999 is the perfect number at my opinion, the last halftrack stricly limited stay on the market at today from 3 months of release.... too much too much

happy new year guys
