I purchased one of these to use in a diorama. I notice its a slow mover. Anything wrong with it? I suppose collectors are more familiar with the M8 then the m20.

Chris: Exquisite photo. WWII circa cavalry.Good stuff. That M 5 Stuart tank with the hedgerow teeth is one cool tank. Wasn't it powered by twin Cadillac V-8's and an automatic transmission? In fact I think that same engine design was incorporated/upgraded into the M-24 Chaffee that also utilized the aircraft grade B-25 Mitchell inspired light weight 75mm gun ...Ok I digress but WWII circa cavalry is a real stimulating topic.

The K&C M8 and M20 are very accurate models but seem to be undersize in relation to the figures shown in your photo. Typically K&C Armor is about 1/30 scale and the figures are 1/28. TCS made both the M8 and M20 in 1/28 scale which is more size compatible with K&C, TG and TCS figure size. The K&C armor works best with WB, FL and Kronprinze 1/30 scale figures if you desire realistic displays. My TCS M20 came with two 1/28 scale (68mm) figures, which look quite realistic since both Armor and figures are the same relative size. TG has the same problem with Armor and figure size relationships. TG Armor is 1/30 and TG figures are 1/28 in the WWII line.

Completely agree - fantastic image! Really shows a wonderful variety of D-Day armor. I esp. like the half track.

I've been watching this one myself. This and the M26 Armoured Recovery Vehicle have been available for a long time.

Well, isn't that a sweet grouping of armor Chris. I don't collect vehicles, but dam well love to look at them. Thanks for the pleasant view.............................Joe
