First a bit of history
There were a lot of "Grille " self propelled guns in the BoB.
2nd Panzer Division had 2
The 116th Panzer Division had 5
The Panzer Lehr had 7
The 1st SS panzer Division had 11
The 12thSS Panzer Division had 6
The Fuhrer Grenadier Division had 6 Grilles
Within the 1st SS Pz Div it was the 13th Panzer Grenadier Regiment that operated the Grilles between the 16th and the 27th of December 1944. After that date none were left
Here you have a picture of the original model straight from the box next to the same model after it passed through my hobby workshop.
Mine belongs to the 13th SS Pz Grenadier Reg.
