Very nicely done Martyn but my set of BD2 came without the ammo boxes and shield, and set BD7 came with two medical cases and no water bucket and the 24th Ft. defending is a private and not as a corporal shown in yours but the same pose and both came from our friend Lynn at MKL in the 90's......Joe

There was a set NMP under attack.
Three troopers, three kneeling horses, wounded zulu and a tree.
Was that not a BD set?

Hi Joe

Glad you like the pictures, I did them to assist anyone who may, for example, see a set on Ebay and then be able to check that it is complete.

BD2 should have had the ammo boxes and shield, the set description in the 1998 Trophy catalogue states "Scattered ammo boxes and debris completes this Battle Diorama".

BD7 should have Corporal Alf Saxty who is holding the Zulu at bay while Sergeant Windridge carries Pvt John Lyons to safety. This is the set description in the 1998 catalogue and again in the MKL catalogue which also pictures the table with the First Aid box and bucket. We all know how Len chopped and changed sets around though don't we;)

Cheers

Martyn, I reckon you could produce a Trophy catalogue just using your collection, you have some awesome sets.

Agree Jeff and Martyn your so right when it comes to Len on his chopping and changing

Martyn,

Thanks very much for posting these excellent images of the Trophy BD sets. Great Job !!

Now Trophy collectors can see if their sets are complete.

May I suggest you place these in your album section for online reference.

Have a Great Weekend, Raymond.

Hope it helps Mike, it is something I had been meaning to do for a while.

Ref. the tent, I think Len was using a bit of "Artistic license" ;)
