A German 88 is setting up to cover a road as a Kubelwagen passes by.
(Kubelwagen and gun crew from K&C. Gun crew from set WS073 : 88 from 21st Century with some additional weathering by myself : mats/shrubs/duffles from BAR : a couple crates from JG : additional 88 shells and shell crate from FOV)

Thanks Mitch. The 21st century gun for that price is certainly something I couldn't pass up.. and it's actually a good model, although 1/32 scale.

Thanks Scott. Yes I love those BAR mats. They are indeed very versatile. This dio has 2 mats pushed together. BAR196 "Medium Green Grass with Road" and BAR207 "Camp Clearing". They are each 12"x24" so together makes a 24"x24" scene. Although the grass in each is not exactly the same shade of green, I felt it was so close that it's hardly noticable.

I agree and the row of trees and shrubs break it up and give the appearance of two seprate fields anyway.
