Did anyone take photos of new or forthcoming releases? Ana mentioned new French Foreign Legion sets would be unveiled.
Thanks,
Randy

Randy, Pete's Chicago Photo Album #2 has some photos ....

Randy, I did not get to go to Chicago this year unfortunately. I burnt through my annual TS budget at Valley a Forge this year ....

Hi Guys,

Seems like I cant find the right set of photos, so did anyone take photos of BGs offerings and if so please post them.

Dave

You are right--there were no BG pix that I could find in Peter's Album 2

Maybe Pat Wade took some photos--I hope.

I hope he did as well! Still seems odd to have coverage of everyone else but no BG. I guess the matte stuff wins again{sm2}.

I just spoke with Pat. He just got home but will post some BG photos as soon as he can. Tommy

Some of Pete's photos seem to have disappeared. I saw them a few days ago and now the album abruptly cuts off. We'll look into it.
In the meantime, I took a picture of them on Sunday at the show:

Sorry it's not the clearest photo - it's kind of dark in our hallway.

Gentle Friends,

Fear not!!!! As Tommy mentioned, I just returned home late last night and I HAVE BG PHOTOS!!! Well, I have them, but let's hope I do not run into any difficulty posting them. ^&grin Us older collectors experience challenges, you know. :wink2:

I intend to start a thread in the Show Forum that will include the BG photos. However, it will take me some time to work my way through all the show photos and post them, so be patient. The BG photos, as well as other show photos, will apprear before too very long.

I also have a some photos from various rooms, some of which have not been included in those pictures already posted. Watch for my thread. It will appear soon.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

We are looking forward to your photos Pat, particularly the Hocker ones, since mine weren't very good.

Hope you and your wife had a good trip back. It probably took awhile longer since your car was heavier on the return trip ^&grin

Regards,

Brad

The FFL figures in Pete's photo are from 1903--1908 in Morocco as seen in this plate. They represent a mounted company. Hopefully we will see some on mules. I have also attached a set of this subject by another manufacturer--don't know whom, however.

I believe that those are from John Eton Studios.
