Before the scout (1 Viewer)

Great little story,
Getting in the last smoke and good shot of whisky while Cptn. Stark and Beaubien ponder what is ahead.:redface2:
What the Indians are pondering I wouldn't want to know.

That wagon is a great addition. I use it in my FIW, AWI and War of 1812 scenes.

Is that 3rd party mat you are using for a base ... looks very interesting?

Very nice little scene! Well done.

Like Larry asked..........I am also curious as to what grass base you used. Did you make that yourself?

Glad you liked the scene. The grass mat I picked up at a toy soldier show a couple of years ago from a individual. They come in handy for small dioramas. Not sure who the manufacturer is.

Thank you for the reply. The reason that I asked about the mat is the rather unique blend of grass and dirt. I looks more natural than a total grass mat for many locations, like you have show on your display.

Since you are from NY and Mark and myself are also Eastcoasters ... hopefully we will spot on at an upcomming show, like Hackensack or possibly in Chicago.

Keep the dioramas coming abenaki ...^&grin

Very nice display, abenaki!
I always enjoy any non-combat displays and John Jenkins allows a lot of them with his range of figures.

Interesting scene displaying the relationship between the rangers and their indian scouts. Well done. Regards Greg.

What really makes this scene POP is the use of lighting. It appears that it is a night scene and they are sitting in the warm glow of a campfire which cannot be seen. Great job Abenaki.
