Just curious, even though Berdan's was a sharpshooter unit.....would they have used scopes? Thanks,Michael

After starting with colts, their primary weapon was a Sharp, without scope.

They carried heavy target rifles such as this morgan james in the supply wagons and used them when the situation required it.

I just opened my CS Berdan's sets from George Guerriero. All I can say is WOW ! The level of detail and the paint is amazing. I thought their 14th Brooklyn sets were nice, but these blow them away. I can't wait to see what future ACW sets this company comes out with.

Different war, same maker; I just opened my Arhnem Tiger and Horch. What beauties they are. And the zimit is perfect.
